Description
LOPSA proposes a blockchain-based platform that enables consumers to exchange loyalty points across different businesses, giving them collective buying power. The platform also allows businesses to sell goods and services, generating income from their own and other businesses’ loyalty points. It will be available as a mobile and web app for consumers and a web app for businesses.
Growth Objectives
To develop a disruptive technology platform that allows consumers to exchange loyalty points, and to gain a higher market share in the South African loyalty programmes market, which is projected to reach R10.6 billion.
Differentiation/Value Proposition
LOPSA offers a platform that bridges the gap between loyalty programmes, allowing consumers to spend their points at any participating business.
This creates new revenue streams for businesses by enabling them to access a larger loyalty points market and sell goods and services directly on the platform using loyalty currency.
It addresses the current limitation of siloed loyalty programmes where consumers accumulate unused points and businesses lose opportunities to gain market share.
