Description

Rorschach Innovation Services (Pty) Ltd is developing the Vast Infrastructure Inspection Solution (VInIS), an intelligent autonomous system that uses multispectral satellite image data combined with machine vision and AI object classification to monitor vast infrastructures and complex terrains.

The solution aims to address the high cost and complexity of traditional inspection methods over large distances by providing autonomous monitoring of geographical areas, asset status/condition, and activity progress over time. It will be offered as a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS).

Growth Objectives

Mature the VInIS product, test the integrated system with initial clients to validate functionality in real-world conditions, and test the subscription-based business model.

This involves further developing the unified product platform, integrating technology elements, and conducting field trials to refine the solution and test price points. The ultimate goal is to achieve a complete generation 1 system that can solve market problems and enable large-scale deployment.

Differentiation/Value Proposition

Eliminates the need for hardware and associated complexities (e.g., drones, pilots, maintenance), resulting in reduced costs and faster deployment.

Offers an application-specific solution with tailored machine vision and image classification models for higher accuracy. Provides a full-stack solution including data access, processing, AI models, and a client reporting interface, along with close client collaboration for system configuration, implementation, and ongoing support.

Rorschach Innovation Services is in the prototype development and EO integration phase:
